Most family planning programs are targeted at women, leaving men, who are usually the decision-makers, from engaging in family planning. This often reduces the effectiveness of family planning interventions. Although the global health community is making significant efforts to engage men in family planning, there is a lack of understanding of barriers and motivations of men in engaging in the process. ‘Couple Engage’ is a project that leverages evidence, literature review, and iterative design processes to help optimize, consolidate and innovate on scalable, gender equitable and couple empowering approaches to engage men and couples in family planning.

By identifying and analyzing the latest trends and behaviors in the FMCG sector, the project seeks to provide actionable insights that can drive the creation and innovation of brands. The focus will be on four critical attributes: authenticity, format, function, and flavor, which are essential in connecting with modern consumers, experimenting with product formats, enhancing product functionality, and standing out with unique tastes. Through this analysis, the project will offer valuable guidance for developing brands that resonate deeply with consumers and thrive in a competitive market.

The George Institute for Global Health India’s Health
Accelerator and the Vihara Innovation Network undertook a
collaboration to uncover the psychosocial health challenges
of female frontline health workers in Andhra Pradesh.
The purpose of the collaboration was to gain insights on
the psychosocial needs of frontline healthcare workers
(FLWs) from an urban and rural context during the ongoing
COVID-19 pandemic. A key objective was to conduct
participatory design workshops across Visakhapatnam
and Srikakulam district that would inform a technical
report highlighting areas of challenges and subsequent
recommendations that would help develop targeted
interventions to offer psychosocial support to frontline
healthcare workers.
These community-based participatory design workshops
aimed to capture, document and lead to an understanding of
the challenges faced by FLWs in a safe space and in particular,
to qualitatively discern their concerns and vulnerabilities.
Eighteen (18) participants -- purposively selected ASHAs
and ANMs -- from both urban and rural geographies were
brought together in these workshops. The insights from these
workshops have been used to outline recommendations for
all stakeholders, including policy-makers, to respond to the
psychosocial needs of frontline workers.

This report is the analysis of data gathered through
participatory exercises and interactions, from the three
workshops, with focus on challenges shared by each frontline
worker that pave the way for recommendations and areas
for intervention. The following table illustrates the workshop
proceedings for each of the batches between the 16th and
18th of September 2021.

Vegas is America’s sickest party destination. It’s got flashy parties, five-star hotels, luxury cars, and—with millions of people around—plenty of germs, too. So we wanted to remind visitors that even though there’s a good chance you could get sick in Vegas, Theraflu will be there to help you power through.

We created radio, static OOH, interactive OOH animations that pulled in real-time data from the weather channel, and photo kiosk that took heat-sensitive Thermoselfies of users.

Game of Choice, Not Chance is a model for creating fun mobile games where young people discover, explore, learn and play their way toward becoming empowered choice-makers. Within relatable game worlds co-created with the youth, players navigate challenges by making choices, while gaining direct access to vital information and resources about their health and well-being.

As they play, young people discover how they can use their choices and voices to shape their future and open new worlds of possibility in their lives.

GoC Boys was a research project to gather contextual information on young men’s lives to inform the GoC design. Two primary objectives supported this goal, related to boys’ self and social spheres: Firstly, to understand game-relevant dimensions of boys’ lives, including phone use and engagement, media and game usage, aspirations, conflicts, gender ideologies, and FP/RH-related behaviours and perceptions. Secondly, to explore the semiotic, social, and normative context of young men’s understandings of FP/RH, gender and masculinity.

Call Saksham is a helpline created to help young couple navigate through their contraception options.

Inspite of the benefits that technology offers, the time spent on gadgets could affect a child's ability to feel connected to their childhood.Lego's "Childhood Shortcuts" campaign demonstrates a simple, yet powerful statement to kids, parents and all computer users through keyboard shortcuts.

The objective of this campaign is to remind our audience how childhood could be in danger of becoming a virtual reality.
